Neck Pain And Tension Nagging At You When You Drive? Always Trying To Pop Your Neck?
Neck pain and tension nagging at you when you drive? Is it uncomfortable to sit at your desk? Always wanting to pop your neck? 🙅♀️
These are typical signs of neck and/or upper back joint tightness and can be relieved with a couple simple techniques!
This is one such technique with tennis 🎾 s to apply pressure to your upper back. Try this, as follows:
✅Check your side to side rotation of your neck before and after you treat yourself. You generally will feel tight and/or painful 😣 to one side, sometimes both. This is what you are trying to change.
✅Take two tennis 🎾 s taped together and place them at you lower or middle shoulder blade region (shown in next video). Support your head with a pillow. You may also use a towel roll under your neck for added comfort.
✅Cross your arms across your chest and perform 3-4 deep breaths. This should feel uncomfortable but relieving. If it aggravates your neck, stop 🛑.
✅After this, slide your body down two inches and your tennis 🎾 s should roll up your back. Breath 3-4 breaths at this section. Repeat this sequence until you reach the base of your neck. Do not go into the neck. Certain regions will feel more tender than others, this is typically because they are tighter
⚠️Disclaimer: this is not medical advise. It is suggestions on self treatment to improve movement. If you feel that you cannot control your symptoms, they are worsening, or you have arm pain or symptoms associated with your neck, you should contact your physio right away. ⚠️
