Typically, in runners and lifters, ankles and calves get tight and limit full range of motion in running πββοΈ, squatting ποΈββοΈ, jumping and can and will limit the ability of you to reach your next PR πͺπ»!
Here are three exercises that should be a part of your mobility routine:
βΊTable Soleus stretch w/ or w/o kettle bell - 5 sets of 20-30 seconds
βΊStrap assisted ankle mobilization with stepping pattern 15-20 reps x 2 sets
βΊ Slant Board Gastroc Eccentric Stretch - slow controlled minimum of 3 sets of 15
